Drew Danburry

In my opinion, he is one of the best singer/songwriters in Utah. He has a show this Saturday @ 55 N. University Avenue in Provo at his wife's (Lady Danburry) new craft shop, 7 pm. It's free, and there will also be food. Free food!

New O-Town Metal Supergroup!

So I get this CD in my mailbox three weeks ago from a band called AM Revelator. It's a brand-new harsh yet melodic metal project consisting of members from former Ogden bands AK Charlie, The Invisible Rays, and Ghundi. It's intense, industrial rock that I think surpasses the afore bands mentioned. Think Soundgarden-meets-STP-meets-The Doors. Members Robert Dean, Bill Cruea, BJ Parker, and Jay Golden have been the tightest I have heard from Davis county in a very long time. A must listen for all metal-heads and 90's grunge freaks alike. They will be performing this Saturday, September 26 for the Salt Lake City Soundcheck at Club Vegas (21+), and on October 16 with Thunderfist at Brewski's in Ogden (also 21+). www.myspace.com/amrevelator
